At the very top of every page, you will see the four main sections of this site: Sign Up, Browse, Sell and Help.
You are currently in the Help section. Browsing and Selling www.buysellsportsfan.com is the focus of this website, and you will spend most of your time in one of those two areas.
Signing Up
www.buysellsportsfan.com is a membership based community. Memberships are completely free and required to list a product to sell. We ask for your name, phone number, address, and email address. We protect all of your information from all third parties, as described in our privacy policy. It only takes a few minutes to sign up, and you only have to do it once.
Once you sign into www.buysellsportsfan.com, you will be able to manage your ads, and view all inquiries.
All members are expected to conduct themselves in an honest and civil manner. Members are allowed to contact each other through our site, and agree to communicate in a mature and polite manner. www.buysellsportsfan.com has the option to terminate memberships in cases of obvious abuse, and we will do so. Persons who do not wish to follow our rules and guidelines are not welcome here.
Buyer Guide
Items listed for sale are being offered by www.buysellsportsfan.com members, who consist of store owners as well as private parties. For sale items are listed in Classifieds, and we have also included a Wanted section so that you can list items that you are currently searching for.
Some items may be listed as Or Best Offer (obo), where you may make offers. We offer some guidelines. If you make an offer, you should be ready to follow through, if your offer is accepted within 24 hours. Likewise, if you receive an offer, you should respond within 24 hours. Classifieds ads will indicate if "OBO", next to the asking price of the item.
When purchasing items, it is the buyer's responsibility to evaluate and determine whether the item listed will meet their needs. www.buysellsportsfan.com is only a venue, and we are not responsible for any purchase that you make, and we cannot validate the authenticity of any listed item. We rely on the honesty and integrity of our membership.
Seller guide
www.buysellsportsfan.com allows you to create an online classified ad to sell an item that you have. You can get to this option by selecting "Sell" link at the top of the page, or selecting "Post a Classified" in the right menu region. You will need to be a registered member of this site before you can create a classified ad. Once you are a member, you will have to sign in. Many more options will appear in the right menu section once you have signed in.
Once you post an ad, it will remain active for 30 days. You will have the ability to mark the ad as Conditionally Sold or Sold. Once you mark the ad as Sold, it will become an inactive listing.
By creating a membership and providing us with your email address, any inquiries for an item will be passed along to you without us having to post your contact information. We recommend that you do not include you contact information in your ad, but this is your decision to make. It is also your decision on whether you want to respond to an inquiry. If you receive and accept an offer in a timely manner, then you have a sale.
www.buysellsportsfan.com will email you every inquiry made, but we cannot guarantee the delivery of every email. www.buysellsportsfan.com also includes a menu option, after you sign in, to view all inquiries on-line, as well as make the first response. This response will include your email address.
